Scotland's Fishermen have just landed their 1000th tonne of marine litter caught in their nets. That bumper haul is enough to fill three Olympic swimming pools.
There are 15 harbours currently participating, they are: Eyemouth, Dunbar, Peterhead, Fraserburgh, Macduff, Buckie, Scrabster, Lerwick, Cullivoe, Scalloway, Kinlockbervie, Ullapool, Tarbert, Rothesay, Campbeltown, Isle of Whithorn and Kirkcudbright.
Currently, there are twelve participating harbours in the South West, they are: Newlyn, St. Ives, Hayle, Newquay, Padstow, Mevagissey, Looe, Clovelly, Plymouth, Ilfracombe, Salcombe and Brixham.
